What Do You Go Home To(Season 5, Episode 14)

A cutesy montage, that ends darkly: each of the characters wake up in the morning and think of their favorite thing/person: Jamie has Chester, his rabbit. Nathan and Haley have Jamie. Brooke has herself. Mouth has Millicent. Dan hers a gunshot and thinks..Keith.

Skillz has discovered Quentin's injury. he actually does the level headed thing and informs Lucas, who is angry that a whole new team strategy needs to be worked out.

Quentin gets angry at Skillz for betraying him.  He calls Skillz an "Uncle Tom" who bows to "Massa Lucas." Skilla is taken aback by this, but he gives Quentin an opportunity to apologize later on. 

Brooke is very happy with Millicent's performance lately, and rewards the Spectacled One with a promotion. Brooke gets good news as well; the adoption agency has reconsidered! She's getting a baby.

The baby will be sent from overseas to undergo a medical care which is provided for free by doctors as apart of an outreach program. The baby stays with Brooke for a short time, and then will be sent home. You know what that means: future heart break.

Brooke wastes no time decking out her place with all the required baby things. Owen is spooked by this, and he sends Chase to explain  to Brooke that he wants his independence! He can't be tied down. Chase announces he's leaving again! WHYYYYY....

Uh oh! Mouth's plan of sending audition tapes all over the country finally paid off. He gets an offer for a job..in Omaha. Millie believes that the two of them can definitely do the long distance relationship thing. She asks Mouth if she can have his room if he moves away. She wants to live with Fergie, Junk, and Skillz? Sounds very sitcom-like.

Mia's album has sold 40,00 copies, which means Peyton is filthy rich. That's how it works, right? Peyton is not happy to rest on her laurels. She wants a new artist to make hit records with. Haley has an idea: why not sign her? Peyton thinks this is a smashing idea! We hear some of a new song by Haley. It makes angels cry!

Mouth decides NOT to go to Omaha. Millie wants to move in anyway, but she' s nervous about the sleeping arrangements, because she's a virgin. Mouth thinks that this is the best thing ever. He calls Millie "sweet and perfect." It's comical, though it isn't intended to be. At least I don't think it is.

Nathan attempts to motivate Quentin by playing one on one with him, but this turns sour when Quentin's ego takes over. Nathan is not the player he once was, and he is taunted by Quentin when he can't make a free throw.

Haley nixes all the new nanny applicants because they are all young hotties. Which is prejudiced! Just because they're hot doesn't mean they're also crazy. This however, is just an excuse to reintroduce Debra, who undoubtedly will cause all kinds of wackiness on her own.

CLIFFHANGER: Brooke marvels as she hold her temporary adopted baby in the airport.
