A Hand To Take Hold Of The Scene(Season 6, Episode 14)

Julian is being super nice to Brooke. She believes she was somehow at fault for the kidnapping of Samantha, since she never reported her assault to the police. Julian plans to drop by later on to work with Brooke on the movie costumes, and Samantha uses this opportunity to play matchmaker!

Samantha makes herself scarce from the house by visiting Jack. He's been avoiding his own home because the child protective services keep coming by looking for him.Luckily she brings him something to eat, he hasn't had anything in days! Jack knows the "man' will find him soon enough. It's just a matter of time.

Chase asks Mia out on a date, and makes a complete fool of himself. Mia is recording, and Chase has issues with learning how to operate the microphone in the sound booth. Mia finds his ineptitude highly endearing, and she takes hm up on his offer.

Mouth is so angry at Millicent, he expresses the desire to pack up all her stuff to give away to charity. Brooke stops by to comfort Mouth(and to scold him for flirting around with Gigi.) Millie later gets intoxicated, and stumbles into Mouth's bedroom offering him all the sex he wants. Stop that. Millie! It's not helping.

Haley and Nathan join Chase and Mia on their date. It just happens to be karaoke night, and the two ladies enroll the dudes into singing together. They perform the popular rap song "Bust a move" in a very not bad manner!

Anyway, everything that Chase does is a slam dunk, judging by the results. He's the man now, dog! Nathan warns Chase about Mia possibly meeting Chris Keller, should she ever happen to go out on tour.

Whoa, Peyton's really pregnant now. That was fast. Oh wait, she's just posing with a basketball. Which leads to....comical subplot time!

Peyton and Lucas babysit Jamie and Q's little brother. The kids are very unimpressed by the "baby movies" and board games(even the awesome "Mouse Trap" game)so they eventually end up doing karaoke too. Coincidentally, the boys sing "Bust a move" as well. That song is universally loved by everyone, including 5 year olds. The kids end up wearing out Lucas and Peyton: they pass out on the couch.

CLIFFHANGER(S): Brooke and Julian have a love connection! Thanks, Samantha. But I'm afraid that next time one(or both)of them will try to play the whole thing off as a mistake. That's how this usually goes.

Millicent decides maybe it's best she leave town for awhile. She thinks she will go back to the store in New York. Mouth agrees. One Tree Hill is(once again)a parable of the darkness of alcoholism!
