Even Fairy Tale Charactes Would Be Jealous(Season 6, Episode 10)

Oh no! Haley has a nightmare about going on stage at a USO concert and being completely unable to sing. Her stage fright has returned. Nathan assures her that dreams has no chance of coming true( unlike the one one she had predicting Lucas' heart attack, and the other one about Nanny Carrie trying to take over her family.)

Millie arrives home to find Gigi passed out in her bed.  She leaves in disgust, then calls Mouth from her car, and demands the slut be removed. Mouth realizes his life is about to end, and Gigi and her devil may care attitude make him even more panicky. She's really incorrigible now: getting drunk, puking on herself, and passing out.

Elsewhere, Lucas knocks on Julian's door. Julian cheerfully answers. Lucas punches him in the face and leaves. That's one hell of a wake up call. Drum roll.

Brooke gets a call from the adoption agency about taking in a newborn baby. Samantha plays this off as nothing, but she is definitely worried. That's her worried face. Peyton makes Samantha Mia's assistant for the USO show as punishment for ruining her dress. That doesn't sound like punishment to me.

Nathan thinks it's ridiculous that Jamie(and Jamie's bunny Chester)has an imaginary friend named "Orville". But someone disagrees with him: the ghost of Quentin! Quentin reappears and taunts Nathan about maybe quitting Slamball! Nathan doesn't want to end up back in a wheelchair. And Quentin is actually supposed to be a ghost, and not some kind of injury induced hallucination.

Haley's stage fright momentarily takes hold, but she quickly shakes it off and sings her "Feel This" song. She looks like an angel! Sadly we don't get to see the whole thing: the scene switches back to Nathan talking with ghost Quentin, and Lucas' new rivalry with Julian. Her dream did not come to pass, but she did foresee the exact outfit she would be wearing. That's something.

Derek loves Haley's music. He also wishes his own mother could have been as great as Haley in the "choose family over career" department. This gives Haley the opportunity to give one of her inspirational greeting card speeches. Derek looks like he wants to be adopted by Haley right then and there.

Lucas wants nothing more to do with Julian and his damn movie. Julian says that he owns the rights to the "Ravens" book and the film will happen with or without Lucas.

Brooke doesn't want to take in a baby after all! She insists that Samantha is the number one priority in her life right now. They seem to have developed a  sort of  mother and daughter dynamic. All is well.

Julian beseeches Peyton to get Lucas back on board with the movie. Julian still believes  the integrity of the story will be better served by Lucas' involvement.

Millie warns Gigi to stop flirting with Mouth. Gigi obviously sees this as a challenge of some kind!  Millie keeps an eye on her rival to make sure her warning is heeded, and witnesses Gigi embracing Mouth after he chivalrously escorts her to her car after work.

Ghost Quentin assures Nathan he'll be hanging around to keep an eye on things, and then he departs. No cliffhanger(s) this time...
