Jamie wants to go, naturally, and Haley puts aside her uneasiness and she takes her son to fall into the trap. Debra is suspicious. She no doubt believes Dan would go out in a blaze of glory.
Lucas' book is published, and he goes to visit Lindsay to iron out the tour dates. He has a problems with the Chicago one, because that's the date of his wedding. Lindsay is slightly humiliated that she heard this news in the board room surrounded by the suits. So, she's definitely NOT invited. The two of them share a mostly amicable goodbye in the bar where they met, and Lucas leaves.

Carrie freaks out Jamie, who runs from the vehicle into a nearby cornfield. After being stalked for a few moments, Haley reappears out of nowhere. How the hell did she do that? Haley's cell phone rings(it's Nathan)alerting Carrie to their position. Haley and Jamie make a run for it toward the house, and when Carrie pursues she gets knocked out by Debra with a bottle of booze.
Debra and Haley's celebration of being alive is interrupted when Carrie rises with an axe, only to be promptly show in the chest area by Dan. This shit is crazy!
Peyton has a dinner date with Mick, and he doesn't show up. He's at a bar, drinking his sobriety away.
CLIFFHANGER(S) Nanny Carrie still isn't dead! She taunts Dan and vows to come back again and again until she has Jamie. A bullet in the brain cures her of her insanity forever. Dan has transitioned from villain into antihero...
Millicent is back! What happened between her and Mouth? Brooke makes nice with Samantha the shoplifter girl, and we see Samantha sleeping in a car in the school's auto shop. That's right she's homeless. Way to tug on the heartstrings.
This episode marked Lindsay's final appearance on the series. So...farewell, Lindsay. You were more of a plot complication than a character, but you still deserved better.
