Bridge Over Troubled Water(Season 6, Episode 4)

Everyone is haunted by briefly appearing apparitions of Quentin. He's in Skillz kitchen. He's in Lucas' office. He's standing by the gas station as Haley drives by. He motivates Nathan with his usual taunts while Boy Wonder plays basketball.

Debra and Skillz affair was revealed at the funeral, creeping the hell out of Nathan. He kicks his mother out of the house, and it's safe to say she's fired as nanny. Lucas is cool about this for a change: he compares the situation to Andy and his own mother, and that turned out just fine....

Jamie is spooked by Dan's huge gravestone. He prompts Haley to check on his Grandpa to make sure everything's okay. It's not of course: Jamie and Haley discover Dan's uncollected newspapers by the front door of his beach house. Cue the Detective Haley theme song!

Haley! She learned how to solve crimes in just under an hour!

Haley! She'll find a missing person, even if they're not worth it!

Peyton is stunned to discover a legendary  rocker named Mick Wolfe in her studio playing the instruments. It isn't too long before we find out that Mick knew Peyton's birth mother, Ellie. He charms Peyton by telling her she looks just like her mother, especially when wearing that leather jacket. Peyton is curious, and starts inquiring about her father. Mick is played by John Doe, a real life rocker!

Haley takes time out from investigating to help Samantha out of a fight, that's how awesome she is. Samantha is unimpressed by Haley(the "cheerleader who dated the basketball star") and doesn't seem too keen on being her teacher's new pet project. She derisively calls Haley Hanna Montana. That's not right.

Brooke is seeing the therapist. She is convinced Victoria hired the masked man to beat her up as retaliation for Brooke firing her. She confronts Victoria with her loaded gun, and we find out just how fucked up Brooke's parents are! Her father wanted a son, and after Brooke was born Victoria vowed to never have another child, just to deprive him of his dream. Brooke's father started sleeping  around with other women the second Victoria got pregnant.

Lucas gives a ceremony retiring Quentin's jersey number. The team is understandably unmotivated to play until they receive a pep talk from Quentin's mother. The team loses the game because Lucas refuses to sub another player in Quentin's spot(a symbolic gesture.)

CLIFFHANGER(S) Mick Wolfe wants to hang around for a while to use Peyton's studio.

Nanny Carrie breaks into Jamie's room snooping around. She threatens poor Chester, but leaves the bunny unharmed, thankfully.

Haley receives news from Dan's doctor that a heart became available, but Dan never answered. Nathan surmises that Dan went off by himself to die alone someplace. Haley seems to disagree.
