You Can't Always Get What You Want(Season 2, Episode 4)
Brooke awakens to find a strange dude in her pool. He feigns ignorance of English when confronted, but we soon learn the truth: he's her new neighbor. His name is Felix. Felix is smug and struts around like he owns the place. Somehow he strikes up a friendship with Mouth. Opposites attract.
Karen has her first day at school. Her instructor, Andy Hargrove, ingratiates himself to her by momentarily pretending to be a student and chatting her up. Andy is a cool dude with an accent. He's from New Zealand! He's filthy rich and gave up a successful business to become a teacher. Enough about perfect Andy already! Yeesh.
Karen branches out her business. She buys the space where the wedding reception was held to turn into a nightclub, for the purpose of future Gavin DeGraw cameos. She asks Peyton to be her partner in this venture. Unbeknownst to Karen, however, Peyton's little foray into concert managing resulted in being offered THE DRUGS(specifically, cocaine.) This will come up later.
Lucas attempts to break Dan out of his lethargy by taking him out. No, not that way. Dan rides shotgun while Lucas test drives a new car from the dealership. This quickly turns dicey when Felix shows up and they engage in a game on chicken on the country roads. Dan has the time of his life! He's never smiled so much.
Haley has her heart set on a used car(or truck), but Nathan uses the cash the two of them have saved up to buy Haley a keyboard. Haley, who is the practical one(most of the time) wonders how Nathan will get to and from work. "Sell the keyboard," sad Haley insists. Suddenly, Keith comes to the rescue and donates an old fixer upper. Haley gets to keep her keyboard. Aww!
I almost forgot...Brooke's parents are bankrupt, and might have to sell the house, that is, the house that Brooke is apparently living in all alone. HOW WILL BROOKE LIVE WITH NO MONEY AND NO HOUSE? I'm really worried about this.
