Spirit In The Night(Season 1, Episode 17)

A basketball tournament/cheerleading competition means that all the crazy kids are staying together in a hotel.  Coach has Lucas and Nathan in a room together because he obviously loves screwing with them, and Peyton is with Brooke because...fate is cruel. Luckily, Karen and Peyton's dad are around as chaperones to keep everyone in line, right?

Brooke is the captain of the cheerleaders, and she's a tyrant(well, not really just passionate). She enlists Mouth to spy on her competition. But, when one of the girls come down with chicken pox, Peyton convinces Haley to step in, because... it's Haley! She can do anything.  Oh, and Mouth has totally memorized the choreography of the other team.

All the guys sneak out after curfew and go to a strip club. But the strippers are male! Ha Ha! That's the joke. Everybody ends up in a pool drunk which causes Coach to go ballistic on Karen and Peyton's dad for allowing such a thing to happen(Dammit!)

Lucas takes one look at Haley in her cheer leading uniform and tells her she looks ridiculous, because he's a moody spleen-less dick. Anyway, Brooke's team doesn't come in first place but she gets a special trophy for choreography(which she should give to that Mouth kid, honestly).

Haley forgives Lucas, because... it's Haley. That phrase should have been on t-shirts and coffee mugs. Guess it's too late now.

Adventures Of Keith: Dan changes the name of Keith's shop, replaces all the equipment, and badgers Keith until Keith eventually quits. Keith sees Karen getting friendly with Peyton's dad. Whatever will he do?

 Spirit In The Night is a Bruce Springsteen song, which is not featured in this episode. It wouldn't have fit though, because it features a woman named Janey and there's no Janey on One Tree Hill.
