Truth, Bitter Truth(season 2, Episode 8)
"Someone once said: It’s the good girls that keep diaries, the bad girls
never the have time. Me? I just want to live a life I am gonna remember,
even if I don’t write it down."
Hey, a voice over from Brooke! That's new. Anyway, Brooke's money woes continue. Her parents sell her bed when she's about to have friendly times with Felix. A trip to the record score with Haley to sell her CDS gives Chris Keller a perfect opportunity to scout Haley. Chris Keller wants Haley to record his song. Brooke is bummed that Haley won't be coming to her slumber party! Seeing Brooke and Haley be all buddy buddy is a little..strange. Anyway Haley keeps this a secret from Nathan.
Haley and Chris Keller record a duet of a song called "When The Stars Go Blue" (which in real life has been covered by many artists, including Tim McGraw). They make the beautiful music together!
Karen tells drug dealer agent guy(Rick) to stay out of her club. He insists that this is a mistake because he manages all the top bands, and she won't get no talent to play in her club. Oh, dear!
Peyton brings Anna to the slumber party, much to Brooke's surprise. Haley arrives and learns that Brooke has did the deed with Felix in her bed. All the girts start yelling at each other. It's very unpleasant. Wait a minute...Peyton did cocaine? What's wrong with her? Why is Haley lying all the time? Why is Brooke with a dope like Felix? These are the things they talk about when they finally stop yelling. Then they have a pillow fight, because...cliches!
Lucas and Nathan go on a road trip to Charlotte to see a game. It's not all for fun, though...Nathan reveals his concerns about Dan's heart condition, known as HCM. The condition is genetic, and Nathan gets tested. Lucas refuses the test, because it's a plot point that has to brought up again later on. Nathan's results show he's in the clear! Hooray?

Anna tell Felix about her new friends, and warns him that better he not do anything to screw things up this time! Felix tells her he really likes Brooke, like FOR REAL, but it's against the rules, the "friends with benefits" rules. This was obviously an attempt by the writers to have the audience sympathize with Felix, but I'm not having it.
Things seem to be going great with Keith and Jules. He gives her a key to his apartment even! Although, he does seem to wonder why Jules never talks about her personal life, including where she's from. Oh well. I'm sure it's nothing!
