Cleopatra 2525: Creegan(Episode 2)

Cleo models her new outfit for Hel, Sarge and Mauser! They seem not so impressed. Cleo believes people from her own time would think she looks totally rad. A group of mutants with bug like antennae and face masks storm in and begin shooting up the joint. Their leader is Creegan, an evil jester! Hel and Sarge began blasting away with their wrist weapons. Cleo does what she does best: screams her head off and hides.

Creegan blows Mauser's legs off, than takes what's left of him to perform some kind of experiments on the robot man's memory. Creegan uses Mauser's technology to hack into Hel's earpiece(the one she uses to communicate with "the voice")and gives her a disabling headache with a high pitched signal. Creegan killed Hel's parents! And he wants her dead, too. Hel passes out trying to dive down the vertical shaft, sending her and Cleo almost plummeting to her doom!

After being rescued by Sarge, Sarge instructs Cleo to remove Hel's earpiece, which Cleo does by using a laser.  Creegan reads Mauser's "memory" and learns of the blaster Hel and Sarge took from the Bailey last episode. But before he can learn any more, Sarge blasts Creegan and he goes flying down, down(and down) the vertical shaft. But he isn't dead.

Hel gets her earpiece put back in, and "the voice" tells her about other people like her that want to stop the Bailey robots. It's very vague.Mauser is back to normal now, despite being blown and half and having  his robot guts hanging out. The End. These shows go by fast!

Cleo scream count:  I counted 6 "normal" screams, and one long one when she was falling down that shaft.

Cleopatra 2525: Quest For Firepower(Episode 1)

Cleopatra 2525 is a sci-fi series!  Hel(Gina Torres) and Sarge(Victoria Pratt)are two badass ladies with cool gadgets. Both of them have wrist worn laser blasters  and  grappling devices that look a lot likes Spider-Man's web shooter.  Hel, Sarge and a bald male dude who looks like a  steroid French Stewart go to the surface to recover some type of weapon from a "Bailey", a giant mechanical robot. Hel is being guided to do this by a voice that only she can hear. The opening credits voice over helpfully tell us that humans were driven underground when these robots appeared and took over the surface.

Hel, Sarge and baldy successfully knock a laser blaster thingy off the Bailey, but Surprise! Baldy turns out to be an evil robot. He transforms his arms into laser guns and starts blasting away. Sarge is mortally wounded in her(only) kidney, and Hel must get her to a lab for  anew one. They go to the lab by diving down a seemingly endless vertical shaft. This shaft is how the women travel throughout the course of the series.

A few minutes in a chamber and Sarge is good as new. Laser kidney repair! A freaky mutant looking guy shows Hel and Sarge a blonde hottie who is cryogenically frozen. He intends to do bad things with her. Hel awakens hottie from her slumber to rescue her from such a fate. She's Cleopatra(Jennifer Sky)! She is("ahem" was) an exotic dancer who went under the knife for breast implants 500 years ago, but something went wrong causing her to be preserved until later. Cleopatra is understandably freaked out when baldy shows and attacks. The women take Cleo with them to their hideout by diving down that shaft again.

Go, Go Cleo: Cleo is sweet, good hearted and ditzy. She spends a lot of time screaming her head off in terror. She confuses Hel and Sarge with her twentieth century pop culture references. She's attracted to Mauser, Hel and Sarge's hunky companion, but he's a robot too. A bad robot reprogrammed to be good!

Baldy shows up again, this time in a liquid metal form like the T-1000(with frickin' laser beam eyes!)After a brief fight, Hel blasts him to smithereens with that weapon she recovered from the Bailey robot(after Cleo distracts Baldy by mimicking Sarge's voice). Cleo laments everything she's lost, but hey she's got three new friends! Cleo inspires them with the "all for one, and one for all" motto from The Three Musketeers. And that's the end of the episode! They're only about 22 minutes long.
