Can't Stop This Thing We Started(Season 4, Episode 4)

Karen leads an intervention in order to get Debra back into rehab. Nathan rounds up all the pills in the house for disposal. Even Dan is there for support! The whole thing doesn't go well at all. As for Dan, he wakes up in the morning, goes to wash his face and blood comes out of the faucet. Ha ha! That wacky Keith and his ghostly hi-jinks.

The Ballad Of Dan And Keith: Dan seeks help from a therapist for his feelings of guilt. He doesn't tell her he murdered Keith, however: just that he feels responsible for allowing Keith to enter the school.  The therapist inquires as to when the rift between the brothers began: Dan received a call that Karen had given birth, and when he arrived at the hospital, Keith was cradling Lucas.

Nathan sells the car Keith help him rebuild and gets a motorcycle. It's a bad idea  of course, since Haley is now pregnant. Haley broken the news to him yet, of course. Debra disrupts Nathan's class by storming in all disheveled and demands her pills back. Nathan gives his mother an ultimatum: him or the drugs! She chooses the latter. Nathan gets upset and goes riding on the motorcycle, nearly killing himself(again)when he wipes out avoiding a truck.

We meet Shelley, a member of  "Clean Teens" a club for teenage abstinence. Rachel has spread rumors of Brooke being pregnant, and Shelley wants to recruit Brooke into her "born again virgin" mentality. Shelley was once a party girl , but now she's not. The members of the club can Brooke themselves all they want , but can't have sex. Brooke thinks this is highly ridiculous, but Rachel is in, especially if the Brooke-ing is done in a group setting.

 Shelley has a tragic story of her own: she got pregnant at a Christian summer camp and had an abortion. I have no jokes for that. It's just horrible.

Karen talks Whitey into putting Lucas back on the team. Lucas will only get to play fifteen minutes a night, though. Lucas pouts! He wants it all or nothing at all! Wah wah wah!

Peyton seems really comfortable with Derek, to the extent that she shares her intentions of getting back together with Lucas.  Derek stays behind just a moment while Peyton leaves the room, barely containing his anger.   

At Tric, Derek tries to drive a wedge between Lucas and Peyton, by telling Peyton about Brooke's pregnancy and hinting that Lucas is the father.  Lucas squints really hard at Derek for interfering in his affairs, and he doesn't believe that Brooke is telling the truth about the whole thing being just  a rumor. In fact he tells her that her maybe baby belongs to Chris Keller.

Lucas attempts to tell Peyton that something ain't right with Derek, including the way he's always taking photos of her. Peyton is more upset about jacket, which has been stolen. Lucas shows signs of brain activity! But even a broken clock is right twice a day.

Hey, It's Rachel!  Rachel does a photo shoot for Maxim magazine(some kind of contest called "Hometown Hottie") I hope she wins whatever it is that people win from doing that sort of thing! Oh, and she attempts to bond with Nathan by making up a lie that she saw Keith in the limo. Bad! If this keeps up I'm removing this as a regular feature!

CLIFFHANGER(S) Haley reveals her pregnancy to Lucas, as well as her fear that things won't work out. Lucas assures her that Nathan is not Dan and won't abandon her . Debra fires Karen from Tric(Debra is the majority shareholder! SURPRISE!) Derek steals Peyton's clothes, and uses them to make a prostitute he hires dress up like Peyton. The woman seems completely unfazed by the thousands of creepy photos plastered everywhere. It won't end well for her.
