Brave New World(Season 3, Episode 10)

Brooke and Lucas have made up! That's nice. Lucas must leave her to attend to Peyton who is in crisis over her mother. Brooke happily checks her new website and panics as the orders for her clothing go up, up and up!  What's she gonna do? Brooke tells Lucas the website was designed by Mouth, even though we heard Haley say she was doing it in the last episode. Haley was busy with Nathan. And how!

Mayor Dan can now do whatever he wants! Well, he did that before, but still... He rousts Haley out of bed, and reminds her about those anullment papers which she never gave back to him. Nathan is absent, having gone to see his mother after receiving her call after fleeing town. Debra tells Nathan she can't go back to Tree Hill, because she wants to learn to be self reliant. And because of her attempted murder of Dan. We see flashbacks of Debra poisoning the bottle of bourbon, donning a hoodie and setting the fire. Nathan is shocked by this revelation!

Debra warns Nathan Dan will always try to control him no matter what. Dan is better off dead, is what she means.

Lucas accompanies Peyton to find Ellie(who left town after Peyton's blow up a while back)Peyton asks for Ellie's help to nurture Haley's music. Ellie agrees! But first, she stuns Peyton with her massive record collection! Peyton inquires about Ellie's cancer. Ellie insists she will be fine. Peyton finds that this is a lie, because there's no food in the refrigerator and no plates or glasses in the cupboards. Ellie's behavior immediately changes  and she throws Peyton out.

Lucas reconnects with a former friend who left Tree Hill some time ago. A girl named Faith. They bicker like brother and sister..or like Lucas and Haley. EXACLTY like Lucas and Haley. I don't know what the point of it was.

Oh, That Brooke!  Brooke enlists Mouth and Haley to help her fill her order. Rachel shows up, too. And Bevin with her whole family! Illegal child labor! It's funny! Rachel is very smitten with Mouth. She listens to all his sports podcasts.

Brooke start acting all stressed out about everything. Haley tells Brooke that this shit ain' t worth losing her mind over, and Brooke is immediately sorry that she's having her friends, little kids, and Hey It's Rachel! work for her.  Brooke tells Mouth to shut the website down and make everybody leave to finish the clothes herself.

CLIFFHANGER!  Ellie shows up on Peyton's doorstep! She will help with Haley's song after all. She is dying, though. Sadness ahead.
