Nothing Left To Say But Goodbye(Season 4, Episode 8)

Daunte is not finished with Nathan. He now wants our Boy Wonder to lose the big championship game. Daunte plans to reveal the points shaving thing they did if Nathan refuses, which would ruin Nathan and Haley's future. That's diabolical.

Nathan catches Daunte and Hulking Bodyguard hanging about the diner(and leaving Haley big tips)and he unwisely follows them down an alley to threaten them. Nathan gets roughed up for his troubles, and Daunte threatens to bust Nathan's knee with a pipe. This is getting serious! I'm worried.

Psycho fake Derek has been caught, meaning Peyton's long nightmare is over. Peyton's happy mood is somewhat dampened by Lucas' reveal that Brooke wants to get back together with him for the umpteenth time. Lucas has rejected Brooke this time, and Brooke immerses herself in planning an award banquet for the basketball team. Brooke has many so many jobs! It's crazy.

Peyton and Brooke trade barbs over Lucas. Derek wants Peyton to ask Brooke to the banquet, but Brooke beats her to the punch. Lucas agrees to go as "just friends." Derek swoops in to take Peyton! But he's been called up to return to Camp Lejeune soon, which may fuel Peyton's abandonment issues again.

Hey It's Rachel! Rachel is failing Calculus, which is a course she needs to pass in order to graduate. Haley balks at tutoring Rachel(she hates Rachel for the limo accident, and for hitting on Nathan)Lucas thinks maybe Haley should give her a second chance.

Coach Whitey is given a lifetime appreciation award. The championship game is his last, and he gives a tearful farewell speech. Haley cries! Peyton cries! Lucas squints! Nathan uses this opportunity to tell Dan about his troubles with Daunte, and Dan leaves to deal with the situation.

Dan attempts to threaten Daunte, but is outmatched by the loan shark's many body guards.Daunte expresses his desire for Nathan to lose that damn game. He's so serious about it that he's willing to kill everybody Dan and Nathan are close to, including Karen and her unborn baby. Dan leaves with his tail between his legs!

The producers of One Tree Hill  obviously love giving Peyton goodbye tearful scenes(Jake in Season 2, Ellie in Season 3!)Here's another one with her and Derek! She handles this one pretty well, considering that Derek is going off to a war zone. He's taught her all she needs to know, now he's departing on a new adventure. Just like character on a tv show.

CLIFFHANGER(S):  Haley does agree to tutor Rachel.  Dan tells Nathan he  has no choice but to lose the championship game(to save Haley and everybody else from being murdered hard.)
