Somewhere A Clock Is Ticking(Season 2, Episode 16)

A very special installment of Adventures Of Keith finds our hapless hero finally getting some happiness. That's right, It's his wedding day! But Keith doesn't know that all of Jules' secrets are about to revealed, leading to tragedy.....

One episode without Haley was almost enough to bring darkness upon the world, but no fear: she's back(but still in diminished capacity, she only has three scenes). Haley calls Nathan and tells him she is doing a tv interview to promote her tour. Nathan is still pissed at Haley  but decides to skip Keith's wedding to watch the interview.  Debra appears despondent about her(emotional and physical) separation from Nathan: Lucas witnesses her popping pills from a hidden bottle.

Peyton and Jake are a couple, and they do things that young couples in love do. They almost miss Keith's wedding because they're doing those things! Baby Jenny says her first word, which is, of course, "dada."  It should have been "run"!

Nathan attempts to buy beer, but Coach is there to put the kibosh on that. Coach tells Nathan to stop being such a whiny bitch about Haley. He doesn't actually say that, but that's what he means. It's all in the tone of his voice.

Chris Keller thinks that he and Haley will sell more records if they pretend to be together. Haley balks at this, but Chris Keller cuts her off during the interview and insinuates that the two of them are indeed involved. Nathan is watching and his heart explodes in his chest.

Nathan promptly gets plastered and goes to the church to convince Keith that the whole marriage thing is a bad idea.  After a brief dust up with his parents, Nathan vomits on the sidewalk, and Lucas stuffs him in a cab and sends him packing.

Andy's private investigator has dug up info, but it's not about Dan. Jules' real name is Emily Chambers. Karen first believes Jules is having an affair with Dan, but quickly pieces the whole deception together. Jules insists she really really loves Keith for real. However,  when Karen threatens to reveal the whole deception to Keith, Jules feels she has no choice but to skip town. Keith is crushed.

Dan gloats over his victory! He even does the evil bwahaha laugh.

CLIFFHANGER(S)! Jake and Peyton return home from the wedding to find Evil Nicki waiting for them, like some vengeful spirit form a horror movie.

Debra gives Nathan money and tells him to go get Haley. He probably should have done that himself by now, but hey, he's stupid. Give him a break.

Oh, That Brooke!  Brooke's father got a new job in California, so she might be moving away. Say it ain't so, show!

    1. He's a nice guy who is easily duped, even by someone he knows he shouldn't trust(Dan). Classic Tragic Hero.

    2. His own damn brother to boot!

  2. Dan used his heart attack to fake a conversion, and gave Keith the job at the dealership specifically to set him up with fake Jules. Of course the whole thing would have fallen apart if Lucas had told Keith the truth when he found out, but he had his own secret to keep with the heart disease thing. Dan's whole plan relied on the stupidity of a kid. (I've put too much thought into this.)
